Beagle Board gaining momentum

  • OMAP3530 processor delivers laptop-like performance at handheld power levels
  • Over 1,200 Dhrystone MIPS using the superscalar ARM Cortex-A8
  • OpenGL© ES 2.0 capable 2D/3D graphics accelerator
  • HD video capable TMS320C64x+â„¢ DSP
  • USB power

The Beagle Board uses an ARM architecture for processing power, the technology used for mobile phones. If you are looking to scale your current workstation without huge cost increases, you might consider the Beagle Board.

Note to Ubuntu users: Yes, there is a version that supports ARM. So, what are you waiting on?
