Bit.ly takes their gloves off in response to Goo.gl

14 December 2009 No Comment

The url shortening services, namely bit.ly and fb.me, have taken their gloves off in response to Google’s new url shortening service Goo.gl. Bit.ly has rolled out a Pro service that allows web publishers to send out short links with their own short domains. Current beta publishers include AOl, Bing, Meebo, and MSN to name a few.

Let the url shortening wars begin.
