Cacoo upgrades
Cacoo is a free online diagram creation and collaboration web app based out of Japan. Since posting my original review a little over a week ago, Cacoo has rolled out a few changes to their online diagram editing application. New features include changes to:
Cacoo Editor:
New Functionality:
- The ability to display a grid as a background. By right clicking in the canvas, you can toggle a background grid. Every 10 pixels is marked with a thin line and every 50 pixels is marked with a thick line.
Enhancements:
- Performance of drag and drop has improved dramatically.
- The save complete dialog box message was modified.
- The default shadow value was increased and made more visible.
- Opacity: From 0.7 to 0.4
- Shading: From 4 to 10
- A semicircle stencil was added to the basic shape stencil set.
Cacoo Site:
Enhancements:
- GMT +5:30(Asia/Mumbai) timezone was added.
- Wiki style formatting was added to comment fields and element descriptions.
- URLs automatically become links.

- Italic: ”’Italic”’

Bug Fixes:
- A bug for users who interacted with the blog module with active auto-login settings for Cacoo were redirected to a list view instead of the appropriate pre-selected image.
