Chrome is now unstable with WordPress in Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic

After around a dozen tab crashes on two separate Ubuntu 9.04 boxes, Chrome cannot be used for my WordPress blogs/sites. I am using Chrome v.5.0.307.7 Beta.

Anytime a WP New Post is created, it crashes within one minute. I am uncertain if the recent slew of Ubuntu updates caused this or if it is Chrome related.

Has anyone else come across this problem?

    It is not an Ubuntu issue. It also happens with Chrome 5 for Mac and Windows. Several reports have been posted at the official bug reports page for Google Chrome. Let’s hope it will be fixed soon.
