Mark Shuttleworth introduces Ubuntu 10.04

Mark Shuttleworth announces Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid Lynx. Lynx is the 3rd Long Term Support (LTS) release for Ubuntu. The previous LTS is Ubuntu 8.04. An LTS is directly supported for 3 years (desktop) and 5 years for servers. LTS releases are provided on a 2-year cadence, while new versioned releases occur every 6 months.
