Send AT&T a message about paying for your data usage

14 December 2009 No Comment

Recent remarks from AT&T CEO Ralph de la Vega’s idea to “incentivize” mobile data hogs in an effort to reduce data usage did not site well with many users.

Dan Lyons of Apple, has taken to his blog to organize a sit-in of sorts against AT&T. It is called Operation Chokehold. The idea is to overwhelm the AT&T network for a full hour starting at 12 p.m. PST on Friday, December, 18, 2009. The ultimate goal being to bring down the network and “send the message to AT&T that we are sick of their substandard network and sick of their abusive comments.”
