In the event that SOPA passes through legislation, currently set for January 12, 2011, you can use the following IP addresses to visit your favorite sites. The SOPA legislation targets DNS, or Domain Name Service to “block” people from sites. However, you can still use IP addresses to view a potential site. If you want to find out the IP address of your favorite site, open a “cmd” window and ping the site. Use the IP off of the ping and type it into your favorite web browser’s address bar.
